Why should you make a donation to New Life Union Mission?
Since 1961 New Life Union Mission has provided a needed safety net for people in our community whose lives have been impacted by unexpected financial hardship and crisis. Some have found themselves in this situation through no fault of their own while others have made bad decisions which have led to a life of poverty, substance abuse addiction, heartache, and even homelessness. We are not here to pass judgment on them, but to help find a solution in the Spirit and Compassion of Jesus Christ. The Mission’s assistance staff works individually with people needing assistance to find the best way to meet the immediate need along with a long term solution plan. New Life Union Mission also works with at-risk Youth.
New Life Union Mission is governed by a Board of Directors, and has a full audit conducted each year by an outside firm not directly associated with the Mission. New Life Union Mission is a 501c3 Charitable Non-profit and a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, AGRM.
The Mission can only do these things because of the generosity of our community. Your donations of money, clothing and other items, along with your prayers, time, and abilities make it possible for the Mission to connect with and help people in need. Please visit our Volunteer page if you would like to volunteer.

Thrift Store Donations
Since 1961, the Mission has transformed lives because of your generosity to those less fortunate. Your donation will provide life-saving services to the hungry, homeless, addicted and at-risk youth in your local community.
Your gift, in memory or in honor of a loved one, friend or special occasion, is not only a thoughtful way to pay tribute to someone special but also a wonderful way to help meet the needs of those less fortunate in your community.
A contribution may be given in lieu of flowers for a loved one who is deceased or to honor special occasions such as, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and graduations.
When you give an honor or memorial gift, a letter will be sent to the designated family or individual telling them of your gift. An acknowledgement will also appear in The State Gazette newspaper.
If you would like to support to the Mission with a monthly gift, please print the linked form, fill it out and mail it along with a voided check to the New Life Union Mission, P O BOX 179, Dyersburg, TN 38025.
If you would like to make arrangements for deferred gifts such as wills, charitable trusts, annuities and life insurance policies, someone from the Mission will be glad to speak with you about these opportunities.
Weekend Food for Kids provides meals for children who otherwise will not have enough food over the weekend. The food is selected for ease of preparation and nutritional value, with the goal being to provide children with filling, easy to prepare food. A typical Weekend Food for Kids pack includes dried fruit, canned fruit, two canned entrees, two breakfast items, shelf-stable milk, 100% fruit juice, and crackers. Children are recommended by school teachers and counselors, and then parents are contacted. The program is operated very discretely and attention is not drawn to the children involved. The program currently serves children in elementary schools in Dyersburg City, Dyer County, and Halls. All money given and designated to the program is used to purchase food. It costs $4.00 per week or $120.00 for the entire thirty weeks to provide for one child. The program is coordinated by wonderful volunteers.
